Rev. Franklyn Schaefer--an ordained minister in the United Methodist Church--has been writing and performing music since his father, once an aspiring concert guitarist, started him strumming on his first guitar.

Franklyn Schaefer's songs offer a compilation of Contemporary Christian and Country songs that speak of important issues in his life and beliefs.
 
He portrays similar lyrical issues as those of Alan Jackson and Phil Vassar but expresses them uniquely—both musically and vocally.
